Does anyone know of a free online program that allows you to rhythms of the music?

I recently took a hobby and making some new beats have been one of them, I do not know many women who do this and if all goes well I'll be able to do so and benefit from it. I currently do not have a machine to beat myself, its kind of expensive, but I was wondering if there was a program that can download to my computer to make a few beats, I have heard of fruity loop beats but can not seem to find where to download. Someone please help !!!!!!!!
