What is the best program to make rap beats?

I have no keyboard / any instrument which would include midi files in it. Ive been writing rhymes for about a month and want to start recording.

Cubase and drums are a powerful combination (I use myself) You will need samples and MIDI files, but can downoad a lot of royalty-free. You probably also want some soft synths. a cheap computer music is good (magazine) that have their own sequencer and lots of VST and VSTi, loops, hits, midi files, even TR-808/909 style drum machine.
